How Do You Get Rid of Vista's Annoying "This Program has Stopped Responding" Popup?

When you try to close out a program with the new Microsoft Vista on your computer, sometimes an annoying pop-up shows itself. This program has stopped responding says the error popup which adds that Microsoft is trying to find a solution to the problem.

To get rid of this nag screen for good, do this:

  • Open the Control Panel
  • Open the System and Maintenance menu
  • Open the Problem Reports & Solutions menu
  • Click Change Settings under the Task pane on the left
  • Click on Advanced Settings
  • Choose Change Setting to disable problem reporting

There! Now your computer will stop annoying you with this meaningless popup!
