When you try to close out a program with the new Microsoft Vista on your computer, sometimes an annoying pop-up shows itself. This program has stopped responding says the error popup which adds that Microsoft is trying to find a solution to the problem.
To get rid of this nag screen for good, do this:
- Open the Control Panel
- Open the System and Maintenance menu
- Open the Problem Reports & Solutions menu
- Click Change Settings under the Task pane on the left
- Click on Advanced Settings
- Choose Change Setting to disable problem reporting
