I have taken some time to organize things on my computer during the lull between the holidays. My poor desktop had to deal with 97icons – at one point they were starting to overlap each other and that’s when I knew I had to do something!
I zipped over to drivehq for a free 1GB of storage. The sign-up process was so easy. All you have to do is give a username, your email address and a password. Tick the box that says you agree with their rules — but make sure to read them first!
You can place most anything on drivehq that you want to for business or personal reasons, such as “images, video, audio, music, sound files, and other materials, data, or text”. Those of you with new cameras and ipods will be glad to know you can store as many pictures and MP3s here as you like.
You can even share them with your friends, family and co-workers. Your uploaded files can be designated as public or private, so you get to choose who can see what.
All your uploads can be organized in various folders. Each folder can have its own background image and background music, too. Very helpful if you have lots of folders.
