Where Do You Find RSS Feed Icons?

Date March 24, 2008

Feed reading should grow in popularity now that the modern browsers, like Firefox and Opera and Internet Explorer 7, have this capability. It seems that more people are at least hearing about feeds. Soon, they will be interested in actually using feeds to read the news they want to learn.

If you’re a publisher, website owner, blogger, writer, musician, artist, business person, small business owner, student, preacher, politician - you get the idea! - if you are anybody who wants to get your message out there, help your site visitors by showing them where they need to click to get your feed. Post an RSS Feed icon in a prominent place. Get my Feed icon 14x14 px. feed.

The most recognizable icon for your site feed is the little orange square with three waves appearing to be broadcast from the lower-left corner of the icon. The white waves and broadcast point are on a bright orange background and the icon itself has slightly rounded corners.

Download feed icons and post at least one feed icon to your blog where your visitors will likely see it. If you’re interested in using some altered form of the standard lil’ orange icon, read the Feed Icon Usage Guidelines first.
